Dear families,
Many of you will receive a Pandemic EBT Card for your children in the mail during the next few days. If your student was enrolled in our schools last year, you will likely be receiving a card. These cards may be used for food in any store that accepts Maine Supplemental Nutrition Program Benefit cards (SNAP). If your family chooses to not utilize these benefits, you can destroy the card. Any unused cards/benefits will remain in the State of Maine's SNAP account.
The P-EBT program is separate from the Westbrook School Nutrition Program so we are unable to provide further information on amounts of benefits, where benefits can be used, or when you should receive a card. Please call the P-EBT helpline at (800) 477-7428 for more information.
