Meet WMS Assistant Principal Sam Chatto
Sam Chatto is from South Portland, Maine and received his undergraduate degree from the College of William and Mary in Virginia. After graduating, he spent two years as a Teach for America corps member in Jacksonville, Florida teaching high school English. After the two year commitment, Sam moved back to Maine and spent three years teaching middle school English and social studies, before becoming a dean of students. He served in this role for the past three years. He also graduated with a masters degree in educational leadership from Saint Joseph's College.
Sam lives in South Portland, with his wife, dog, and cat. He loves history and local food, and spends his free time traveling to explore historical sights and enjoy good food.
