In November, we hosted a conversation about social media and the impact it has on our students. Although our group was small, we did have a great conversation about how our students are living in a 24-7 online generation. At our schools we have the ability to monitor and filter much content, at home students have far more opportunity to access social media apps that may not have a great benefit or may compromise safety.
The most important tool a parent or guardian can have is KNOWLEDGE. In this presentation we shared information about common apps and strategies to support students at home.
