Good Morning Congin Cougar Families,
Happy Wednesday! I hope all of the moms out there had a wonderful Mother's Day over the weekend. We have a busy few weeks ahead with a lot of exciting things happening, so here are some updates for this week:
Today is a Wednesday early release day! Students are dismissed at 2:30!
Please consider taking 5-10 minutes out of your day to complete our Congin Family Survey for the 24-25 school year. We did a similar survey last year. and it helped us think about goals that we wanted to accomplish this year, so please help us by completing the survey!
Special Olympics is taking place on Friday! We can't wait to cheer on our olympians as they leave and return to Congin! Students will be creating signs and posters throughout the week.
Our 4th graders will be going on a field trip on Friday to Mount Agamenticus!
We have our PTO plant sale taking place this Saturday from 10am-12pm at Congin. Weather permitting, we will be outside in the Congin bus loop with various indoor and outdoor plants to purchase. If it ends up raining, we will be having the plant sale inside the school. Additionally, Willow Mobile Coffee will be in our bus loop to be serving some coffee! We hope to see you all there!
Next Friday, May 23rd, our 3rd grade cougars will be going on a tour of Westbrook and Smiling Hill Farm!
Just a reminder that our Field Day will be taking place on June 6th, with a rain date of June 9th!
Don't forget that if your child comes to Congin on a waiver, you must turn in another waiver to get approved by the superintendent for the next school year. We are accepting these waivers now until the end of the school year.
We just have a few more weeks for Hannaford Helps Schools! Make sure to scan those QR codes and to select Congin as the recipient school!
It's a great day to be a cougar!
Sincerely,
Marc Bisson
