Good Morning Congin Cougar Families,
Happy Wednesday! I am hoping that this email finds you well and that you have been able to enjoy the early Spring weather we have been having. I know our students have been loving it.
March is going by fast, but we have a lot going on at Congin. Here are some updates:
It is Wednesday, so that means it is an early release day. Students will be dismissed at 2:20!
We have a Pizza and Bingo Night at Congin on Thursday from 5-7pm. Come enjoy some games and pizza. This event is free to all Congin families. All students who attend need to have an adult with them, as this is not a drop off event. We are also looking for some volunteers, so if you are interested in volunteering, please sign up on this page! We hope to see you there!
It's March, so that means it is March Madness! Congin will be participating in our very own Book March Madness. Teachers will be recording themselves reading books, and each day, two books will be presented to classrooms to vote on their favorite. We will continue this until we have one winner!
There will be a Congin Night at the Maine Mariners on March 29th at 3pm. If you would like to purchase tickets, here is the link.
Our PTO will be hosting a plant sale again this year, and we are looking for donations! If you are interested in donating, please contact ConginPlantSale@gmail.com.
There will be no school on March 20th, as this is a professional development day for staff.
Our current kindergarten students will have no school on March 27th and March 30th, as we will be screening our new incoming kindergarteners.
If you have a child that will be attending kindergarten next year, don't forget to register your child at this link, and please make sure to call our office (207-854-0844) to schedule a screening!
It's a great day to be a cougar!
